Meet Your Teacher
Hi, I’m Meredith—an educational consultant, certified teacher, and passionate advocate for personalized learning.
With over 25 years of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from upper elementary all the way through college. I hold a Master’s degree in Education and bring both classroom expertise and real-world flexibility to the families I work with. I taught in public school in traditional and alternative settings for 16 years. I have taught at the collegiate level for 6 years, including in-person and online instruction. While teaching in traditional classroom settings, I have also homeschooled my children for 6 years.
All of these experiences have shown me that education comes in a variety of forms. I’ve seen the benefits of tailoring education to fit a child’s needs, interests, and pace, and I’m passionate about helping other families do the same.
Whether you're a homeschooling parent looking for guidance, sorting through curriculum choices, seeking academic support for your child, or a family navigating alternative education paths, I’m here to help. I offer creative and practical solutions, experienced insight, and support for lifelong learning.
Let’s create a learning journey that works for your family—one that’s thoughtful, flexible, and grounded in educational expertise.
Our Homeschooling Journey
Our family’s path to homeschooling has been quite the journey full of u-turns, climbing mountains, struggling in the valleys, and enjoying mountain top views.
Over the years, my sons have experienced homeschool, public school, back to homeschooling, and private school. I joke that the only thing we haven’t tried is boarding school and honestly, it’s not completely off the table!
Each step of the journey taught us there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to education. Each season revealed new needs and new decisions. We experienced a variety of educational experiences, curriculums, and philosophies. Eventually, we found our way back to homeschooling and we are all-in!
I share this because I know many of you are on your own winding paths. Some families feel confident in their educational choice from day one. Others make changes along the way based on their children’s needs, life circumstances, or simply a desire for something different. Raising our children is definitely a journey, but it is not one we need to take alone. I haven’t. I have had friends and family support and guide me along the way. And now, I am sharing some of my services, experiences, and knowledge with you to help you navigate all the choices out there.
